There is just no use saying otherwise because every person has a bad skin day ones in a while. Although it is important to deal with the short term problem (of combating the bad skin day) it also makes sense to look and clean out a few habits which may be causing them. Always ensure that you have removed your make up using a good quality remover at the end of every day. Select make up products based on what has gone into making them. Natural ingredients are better than chemicals (but you already know that, don’t you?). Drinking lots of water keeps your skin hydrated and supple. Brushes used for make-up must be cleaned regularly.

How to Battle a Bad Skin Day

Apart from all of these, you can try the below tips to hide that one day break out or bad skin day issues using the below cheats:

  1. Smile: Yes, it is so darn simple. Smile more and people will not notice break outs on your face. Many people have a habit of looking down or doing things to hide themselves but you don’t need that kind of negativity in your thoughts. Instead smile and let the day pass.
  2. Hair do: Skin looks bad today? No problem. Invest time in a great hair do. Or get a fabulously flowing dress to wear.
  3. Foundation: Use a water based foundation to hide those blemishes for the day. But please make sure that the foundation itself does not have chemicals that will give you acne the next day.
  4. Make-up: Every woman knows how to use make-up on the rainy day. A good tip is to stock only those things that suit your skin. For example, if you have an oil based foundation and your skin is oily then it is no good for you; get rid of it immediately. Your make-up should be complimenting your skin and not look greasy or patchy. After all, how will you cover up on top of make-up!
  5. Scarves: Nope, skip them! Scarves have a bad habit of bringing out your facial flaws instead of hiding them. If you are having a bad skin day then dump the scarf and let your neck come out to show off.
  6. Anti-bacterial Creams: Quick break out creams are available in plenty. A start maybe to visit a dermatologist and have him prescribe one. But, if that is not possible then going over-the- counter for a day is not so bad.
